The establishment of this fact, as usual, was facilitated by research conducted by experts using guinea pigs, which were placed in different parts of the cage with a large septum equipped with only small apertures.

In the process of the study, scientists noticed that the desire to mate was exhibited only by healthy mice, and those who had pain syndrome had absolutely no such desire. Male mice, on the contrary, were very active in terms of mating with mice of the opposite sex.
